Why firewood in crates?
Firewood in a crate is already neatly stacked - no stacking needed, and the crate doubles as storage. Place it under a shelter or in a shed and take logs as you need them.

Birch, oak or mixed?
Birch lights easily and burns with a bright, steady flame. Oak is dense - it burns slowly, for a long time and gives plenty of heat. Mixed firewood lights quickly and keeps the heat going.
