DELIVERY AREAS AND FEES

We currently deliver to the following cities and areas in Latvia: Penkule, Bēne, Kroņauce, Tērvete, Auce, Dobele, Jelgava, Olaine, Piņķi, Babīte, Iecava, Tukums, Līvbērze, Brocēni, and Saldus.

Delivery fees are calculated per unit ordered and depend on the delivery destination. Current rates are shown clearly at checkout before you confirm your order.

If your delivery address is outside these areas, please contact us at supplychain@morewood.lv before ordering, and we will let you know if delivery is possible and provide a quote.

DELIVERY TIMEFRAME

Orders are delivered within 5 working days of order confirmation. Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed - see our Terms of Service for details on delays caused by factors outside our control (weather, carrier availability, etc.).

DELIVERY METHOD AND ACCESS REQUIREMENTS

Our products (firewood, wood pellets, and briquettes) are delivered on pallets by truck. Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address to receive the order, and that there is reasonable access for a delivery vehicle.

Curbside delivery: Unless otherwise agreed in advance, delivery is made curbside - to the nearest safe, accessible point on a public road or driveway that our delivery vehicle can reach. Our drivers are not able to carry or transport goods further onto private property, up driveways unsuitable for a truck, through gates, up stairs, or into storage areas. It is your responsibility to arrange for the goods to be moved from the delivery point to their final storage location.

Heavy loads: Our pallets are heavy (up to approximately 1,000 kg or more per unit) and are unloaded using a forklift or hand truck/pallet jack directly from the delivery vehicle. Please ensure the delivery area is:
- Accessible to a large delivery truck (sufficient width, height clearance, and turning space)
- Firm and level ground, able to support the weight of the vehicle and load
- Free of overhead obstructions (power lines, low branches, etc.)

Access issues: If our driver determines on arrival that the delivery location cannot be safely or reasonably accessed (e.g. narrow driveway, soft ground, no vehicle access, stairs, tight spaces), we reserve the right to deliver to the nearest accessible point instead, or to reschedule delivery once suitable access is confirmed. Additional charges may apply for failed delivery attempts due to inadequate access, or for special unloading arrangements.

RETURNS AND DAMAGED DELIVERIES
